If you see a warning telling you to call a number or pay to unlock your computer, don't call it and don't pay. Turn the computer off and call us.
Many infections can be cleaned up by remote connection, so you don't have to bring the computer in. Once it's clean, we check your security settings and updates so it's less likely to happen again.

Can you remove a virus remotely?
Yes, in many cases. We connect to your computer securely, with your permission, and clean it while you watch.
I clicked a scam pop-up and let someone on my computer. What should I do?
Disconnect from the internet, then call us. We'll check what was installed and remove it. Change your passwords from a different device and contact your bank if you gave out any card details.
Can you get my files back after ransomware?
It depends on the type of ransomware and whether you have backups. We'll assess it honestly and tell you what's possible.
