How much do repairs cost?
It depends on the fault and the parts needed. As a guide, virus removal is £45, Windows reinstalls and software fixes are £49, laptop charging ports are £45, batteries start from £39, screens from £60 and data recovery from £49. We diagnose it for free and confirm the price before any work starts.
Is the diagnosis really free?
Yes. We look at your computer, tell you what's wrong and give you a price. You decide whether to go ahead.
Will I be charged without agreeing first?
No. We call you with a price after the free diagnosis, and nothing is done until you say yes.
How long will my repair take?
It depends on the fault and whether we need to order a part. We'll give you a time estimate with your quote.
Do I need to book, or can I just drop in?
You can drop in during opening hours, Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5pm. Booking online or calling first means we're ready for you.
Do you build custom PCs?
Yes. We build gaming PCs, workstations and everyday home and office PCs to your budget, with Windows installed and everything tested before you collect it.
Can you fix my computer remotely?
Many software problems, including virus removal, can be fixed by secure remote connection. Call us and we'll tell you if yours can.
Will my files be safe?
Yes. Most repairs don't touch your files at all. If a repair could affect them, we'll tell you first and can back them up.
My laptop isn't worth fixing. What now?
We can make you an offer to buy it. We'll return the hard drive to you or transfer your data first.
Which brands do you repair?
All the major Windows laptop and PC brands, including HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, Samsung and Alienware.
Do your repairs come with a warranty?
Yes. New parts we fit during a repair come with a 12-month warranty, and so do new computers and custom builds. Refurbished and second-user computers come with a 30 to 90 day guarantee, confirmed when you buy.
